I have been told by Porsche that I have a faulty ERG valve on my Cayenne Turbo 2004, I want to replace it myself, is it a DIY and where do I find it?

Thanks

I didn't know they had an EGR valve. Do you know the code that lead them to this result? I'll have a look when I get to work and report back.

They probably mean the secondary air system, a conventional EGR system is not present. It is important, in all cases, to note the fault code(s).

lloydian - I am also in Dubai....just had a call from ARM and they have said I need a replacement "turbo breather valve" and want AED 392 for the part and an hours labour....is this similar to your experience? the service advisor didnt mention ERG valve, so this may be completely unrelated
