Rattle In Frame

I recently replaced one of the screws holding the passenger visor to the window post. As some of you will know, the brass threaded insert strips easily if it is over tightened (which a previous owner did requiring me to replace it). You have to remove the factory threaded insert before installing a new nutsert which is exactly what I did. The problem occurred during the removal of the factory threaded insert because when I punched it out it fell down the window post to the bottom frame below the door and now rolls back and forth as I accelerate and brake. So my question is does anyone know how I can access this area to remove this brass piece?

I understand from your story that some component is fallen inside the door, in this case the door trim must be removed to get full access.

Not in the door but below in the frame itself.

another option would be to spray some cavity wax rust protectant in the rocker panel then move the car so the nut rolls into the wax , once it dries it will be stuck in place lol

Has anyone found a solution for this issue? I too now have this problem trying to replace a broken sun visor over the weekend. Again, I'm surprised about the flimsy engineering design Porsche made in this area with the brass nuts and their tendency to break.

I've been driving around in the last week with a couple of these threaded inserts having dropped into the frame below the door. I've paid close attention when I went over bumps to see if I could hear them.

FWIW, the rattling noise seems almost non-existent, or I could not really tell. So I've decided not to do anything and let them lie. At first, I was going to try the suggested wax method but that doesn't seem necessary now.
