Hi I've got a 996TT and I'm experiencing problems with the indicator switch. When turning right it doesn't stay on and on left turns it does not turn off. I have located the part for replacement but would like to understand if this is a DIY job or should I seek professional expertise. I don't want to go to an OPC as I'm sre I'd be fleeced...

Any recommendations, instructions or manuals for changing the combination switch? Any airbag implications?

Thanks for any help or direction..

Cheers,

AJ

It can be a little tedious but if you take your time it's not all too difficult. It will probably take you about an hour, maybe a little more if you go nice and slow. I have a good DIY (PDF format) that I can't figure out how to post here. Send me your email address and I'll send it to you.
