Anyone knows how to remove the roof console ? I'm referring to the plastic curved console on the roof, above the rear mirror, containing the interior lights and the sunroof button.

I think that I must remove the lights first, then some screw should be found here. True ?

Thanks in advance.

Ok - I'm confused here... your profile says 996TT and you posted in 997-1 - what car are we talking about?

Oops ! I've forgotten to update my profile...now MY07 997 GT3 RS.

I've posted here because this is a general 997-1 question.

Thanks again.

If you have homelink, you have to carefully pop out the 2 outer buttons to get to the screws.

the buttons come apart easily so be sure you remove the entire button assembly, not just the top of the button.

Ask me how I know....several times.
