I have 2001 996TT that pops the following 2 codes (1128 and 1130) about 2 to 3 times a week. I recently had the line that supplies the clutch slave replaced due to chaffing. The engine was pulled to make this repair. Any chance the codes are related to the recent repair? Or, do i have another problem?

Those codes are for O2 sensors. 1128 is bank1, 1130 is bank2. Possible causes are listed in the manual as MAF, Evap canister leak, vacuum leak, intake air leak.

It's possible that when they dropped the engine, they didn't get everything fully connected when they put it back.

Excuse me but those are NOT O2 sensor fault codes.

Those faults show that the idle range is sensing too much air.

P1128 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 1 - Below Limit

P1130 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Idle Range, Bank 2 - Below Limit

Possible fault causes:

- Incorrect signal from MAF sensor

- Fuel pressure too high

- Fuel injector leaking

- EVAP canister purge valve open

The most common cause of this fault on a 996TT is a bad MAF (or not connected MAF).
