I am in the process of replacing my worn out plastic window convertible top, I came across a few listings on the ebay, since some of you bought the top from the auction site.

Does anyone know about this particular seller "toponline" and brand "EZ ON auto top co." if anyone has had any experience installing the top sold by it.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

From what I understood, '97-'03 didn't have glass back windows because of the fold pattern of the room. (I could be mistaken and they implemented them in '02, can't quite remember) I would be wary and if you do decide to go through, make sure their return policy is solid if it doesn't work out.

'97 to '02 came factory with plastic windows.

The GAHH (and other brands) tops for the '97's to '02's designed a glass window that is much smaller in size (especially top to bottom) because that is the only way to get the three-bow frame (which is what is found on '97 to '02 Boxsters) to fold the glass window in just behind the roll bar hoop frame. If you want a bigger glass window, you have to install a four bow frame from an '03 or '04 986.

Regards, Maurice.
