Just replaced the radiator in my 2000 2.7 tip, while checking the fans work I noticed that the drivers side (uk) is not working, does anyone know what fuse governs that rad? there is no chart in my fuse cover.

Also while topping up with coolant I noticed that if I removed the oil filler cap there is a small amount of back pressure and when right off car idles roughly, is this normal. Car fine in every other respect.

Timbo:

In a 2000 Boxster, fuse C8 is for the right side radiator fan and fuse C10 is for the left side radiator fan. Both fuses are 40 Amp.

A small amount of suction when you are pulling off the oil filler cap with the engine running is normal, as is the rougher idle when the cap is off. If the suction is excessive, that is a sign of a failing AOS.

Regards, Maurice.
