I have had my 99 996 for almost three years and have about $60k in insurance claims. None of the accidents have been my fault. At least that is what the insurance company says. Maybe it's my fault for driving a nice car in a city with such bad roads and drivers. Boston is the worst.

In 98 I bought a totalled 96 993 twin turbo and drove it about 50k miles. I sold it because the cost of repair was so high. Now I am considering buying another.

Two problems:

1. I can't find one that I can afford (with a bunch of miles)

2. Did I have so many problems because I pieced it back together?

I feel as though my 996 is an old man's car because it is so easy to drive. Does any one else feel this way or am I just being too critical?

The 996 is not an old man's car.

Its everybody's car. It drives nice and comfortable and runs really fast when asked to.

I try to drive mine everyday except for snow days.
