I have an 2006 C4S with full leather and saw the door inserts at Suncoast that go surround the door release and electric windows. I've also seen them in a friend's turbo - great upgrade. Anyway, just curious how tough these are for DIY install if anyone has done it. Airbags tend to be something I stay away from but I am curious to know how tough they are to install. While I'm at it would anyone have any suggestions where the best place is to get such parts (center console is probably the next purchase). The Suncoast guys seem to be very helpful and prices are the best I've found so far, but at the risk still shopping, curious to know if there are others. Sorry if this one is a bit rambling. Thanks, members have been very helpful for the newbie Porsche owner.

No need to shop other that Suncoast. Their prices and service are consistently superb.

I've used them for at least 5 years and have yet to have any buyer's remorse.

I have been very pleased with Suncoast as well, but as I mentioned, I'm a new owner. I bought the car only in October and keep discovering things long time owners consider givens. Still learning and always very much appreciate the wisdom of the forum. Thanks for the confirmation.

Door panel removal is fairly straight forward and I believe there are several DIY's around here. After that is off to separate the old trim from the door panel you have to drill the plastic welds out carefully. After the old piece is out plastic weld the new one in. Its pretty simple really but be careful when you do it because you only have one shot to weld the new trim piece in correctly.

These and the gear shift trim in leather are two of my favorite options.
