The headers wont fit so you need the k24 ones.

If your fitting new turbos I would change the exhaust anyway but you dont need to.

The intercoolers for the k24's are larger.

Would go after market with the exhaust and headers. The GT2 intercoolers will be fine.

Swapping from K16 to K24 is a direct bolt-on, so you don't need to change anything !

Headers are exactly the same and intercoolers and exhaust will be fine at least for 1.0-1.1 bar boost.

Is there a DIY for this? I see a few listed but I was wondering if you can drop the stock turbos without moving exhaust and the rear bumper? I have a AWE exhaust so it is much smaller than the stock unit.

Thanks,

If you're going to all that trouble, consider putting in K18/K24 hybrids.

Smaller exhaust wheel spins up the bigger turbo wheel-best of both worlds.

There's no difference in the clutch. It's the same one in the 420 HP or X50 models. When you go to bigger HP, you might as well do the clutch...I went with a UMW flash, Europipe exhaust, Wastegate upgraded spring kit in my X50 and the clutch lasted about a month....and that was without hard launches or fast off-the-line starts....the clutch just won't hold that extra HP. You'll feel it start slipping in gears 4, 5, or 6. A little at first, then it gets progressively worse regardless of how you baby it.
