Throw-out bearing question

In a couple of weekends I'm going to replace the T/O bearing and the bearing guide on my 2000 C2. Only thing is that I haven't been able to find any documentation for greasing the sleeve, I've looked but haven't found anything definite.

So anyone know how to grease up the bearing/sleeve and what grease to use? Thanks.

The brng should have the correct grease already in it. When you purchase the part inspect the groove in the collar to see if any lubricant is present. If not just use a light grease and little of it.

Do you mean the contact surface of the bearing to the guide sleeve? I don't recall seeing or feeling any grease there, and if there was I probably got my grubby fingers all over it and ruined it. Grease in the actual bearing I'm not worried about, what concerns me is the mating surface between the bearing body and the sleeve.
