I will be changing my clutch next sunday. Are there any special tools needed to get the job done? Any gotchas that i have to look for? This is for '02 996 TT.

I did this last weekend. I would say we had some special tools. I would reccommend finding the 12 point allens for the PP and the FW. We found a full set of 12 points at AutoZone made by OEM.

Some poor misguided soul said you need to remove the engine to change the clutch. What??? cursing.gif

YES, THE DMF WAS RESURFACED.
