At 10 y/o, was shifting my Dad's 356 from the passenger seat when we drove places.

At 17 I was removing the speedo cables on my Dad's 356's so I could take them for rides and not change the mileage...a cat & mouse game for years.

At 20, bought a European version '69 911s in '71 -- probably my favorite car. 5 across the years.

A life of crime.

At age 30, I bought a 9-year-old 996.

Now I'm 32, the car is 11, and we're at 127,000 miles - almost 50,000 of those spent together.

First one at 31......Then 33....then 34...then 36.....You get the idea :) Addictive! Currently have four in the garage......And 3 kids in the house. Thinking of getting rid of a kid or two so I can add another Porsche B)

LOL! I don't have kids, but if i did I would probably think the same thing.

Hahahaha!! That's a very good idea!

I'm 29 and got my first Cayenne S. I'm going to be a Porsche owner for a long time to come. :drive:

It's somewhat "dangerous" for me here in Stuttgart with Porsche-Centrum here - they have every model, including the 450,000euro Carrera GT. It's ridiculously awesome. It's fun to put hand prints on the windows, though!!

I always wanted a 911, but they were always twice what I wanted to afford. At 50 it finally hit me that a slightly used one is not bad either.

So 50; 2003 C4S; still thrilled to drive it!

I wish i lived in Germany, then i could really test the cars high end speed. Someday i guess.

I retired a day before my 61st birthday in 2007, so I celebrated big time. Bought my current 2001 Boxster S.

My wife just shakes her head and smiles - I guess she knows me well after 42 years of marriage......

At 38 - 85 911 targa

39 - 86 944

40 - 74 914

44 - 87 924S

45 - 03 996

The 911 targa is a project car.

The 944 was bought for my wife, she loves this car more than her 325i.

The 914 is my autocross / time trial car.

The 924S was bought for my youngest daughter, she needed some money and sold it to my wife. It is now my wife's autocross / time trial car.

The 996 is just freaking awsome, I love this car.

Bought my 2002 C4S at 34. In shock of the stunning car, I slept in it in the garage the first night.

At 65, it was my " I survived a heart attack and quintuple by-pass car", I recommend you get one (a p car that is, not a heart attack) before it's too late...you never knowB)

New 944 in '82 at 24. Just got divorced, like I needed a reason. Sold it in '87 to buy a house.

Used '02 911 C2 in 2008. Paid less for it taking inflation into account. About 10x the car.
