Hey all.

The Driver's side door exit lever (the thing you pull to get out of the car) on my 2006 997-1 c2 is loose - loose enough that the car thinks the door is about to be opened, so the window drops a tad.

Any thoughts as to whether this might be something that needs to be tightened, or something more serious?

Many thanks

I had the same problem with my 2006 C 2S. I brought it in for the problem and it was tightened up and now opens fine, and does not rattle anymore. It is however slighly out of position when compared to the passenger side.

RB1: Super thanks for the response...dealer called me today and said that it was wear and tear, so would not be covered by CPO...total cost to me will be $80...will let you know the result. thx again.

RB1: Fixed and looks the same as the passenger door - all for $67, noting my dude did a 30/70 split; turned out to be a cable inside the door, not the handle itself
