Which dealership was that? I'm really surprised that a luxury brand like Porsche would CPO the car with some scratches on a bumper. I've only gotten one CPO car before -- from Audi and I've reviewed their inspection guidelines/check-list and from what I understood they would not CPO the car with the visual cosmetic defects either on exterior or interior. Maybe I just got lucky. But please do tell which dealership CPO'ed that car.

I agree that after a review of the guidelines/check-lists of what should have been done when the CPO inspection was complete these types of items should have been fixed prior to CPO being issued. Now that we are after the fact, and the dealership and I have come to an agreement to make the situation right, I do not want to bash anyone in this public forum... I can only hope that the proper proceedures are taking place when dealerships are CPOing a car and I just want to make everyone aware, that just becuase a car is CPO does not mean that what will arrive at your door if buying sight unseen is a "new" looking car.

Again, I am overall satisfied with my purchase, and with the steps taken to make my situation correct. And even though it is an out of state dealership that I will probably never do business with in the future, I do not think there is anything to gain to bash them as my experience may have been a one off and may not reflect the norm of that dealer.
