Hello Loren,

I recently went through the effort of changing the spark plugs, oil tubes, and o-rings. Thanks to your DIY, it was a breeze (I did remove the mufflers).

While removing the mufflers, I noticed that the muffler tube that extends into the cat was oblong and decided to have a muffler shop round-out the tube.

I removed both cats. I thought I labeled the 02 sensors properly, but regret that i didn't. Can you tell me which 02 sensor goes to the pre-cat and which goes after the cat. They are, as you know, color-coded. One connection is Black and the other is gray.

I believe the BLACK connector goes to the pre-cat...........

Thank You,

Excuse me to high jack this, if the connectors on the sensors have a different color, then the other half of the connectors (on the wiring) should have the same color, that's the way Porsche normaly works. Hope it helps.

Absolutely right. That's not the problem. The problem is where to place the 02 sensors. (2) sensors have black connectors and the other (2) sensors have gray connectors. I need to find out which sensors go where - before the cats and after.

According to my pictures it shows the O2 sensors with the black connectors as being the primary sensors. So the ones before the cats.

Excellent, thank you!
