Hi,

I Just posted here with a question I had on over revs reading from the Durametric tool. Not sure if I might be pushing my luck asking one more?

I have read a number of posts on the airbag warning light, none (that I've been able to find) have been asked/answered on the specific fault code/explanation I received from the Durametric tool.

I have an 02 Boxter S with an airbag failure light on. I purchased the Durametric kit and received this fault: 29: Ignition circuit-side airbag driver. I called a couple of dealers and independent repair shops and they were all vague...saying they want to run my car through their tester (most charge over $100.00 to do this). Does the durametric fault code/or explanation specific enough that it diagnosis what my problem is? I have the Bentley manual, which does not list fault code 29. The read out is saying the problem is the ignition circuit for drivers side airbag-if so, what/where is that repair? Anything you feel confident I can try based on this fault before I take to a repair shop?

Thanks much! Renntech has been an invaluable resource for me the last few years!

Steve
