I have a question regarding a strange noise of my 2000 C2 Cab.

When I started my car and let it warms up in the morning (car at park) I hear a strange noise (don't know how to explain) in the engine bay. It seems like the noise is coming from the motor or pump (?) at the lower left corner of the the engine bay. This strange noise happened only for about 1-2 minutes and it went away and engine runs as normal as its temperature reach toward 180.

Do you know what is this strange noise and is it normal or it indicates something is going wrong? In addition, what is the device (motor or pump) located at he lower left corner of the engine bay?

Thank you in advance for your help.

It looks different than the original air box but that does not make the original air box looks ugly ;)

Very nice appearance. Incidentally, does it have improved airflow wrt stock box?
