Carbon Trim on ebay

I'm wondering if anyone has tried installing the carbon fiber trim set in the porsches.

Carbon fiber replacement parts seem like a really expensive option...

I bought most of my CF trim from MAcarbon. I do not know the linked set, but it looks like it is just stick on stuff (peel and stick)? Not sure of durability?

Don't do it. I tried one of these kits. The fit isn't bad but the bonding process will eventually peel away leaving your interior looking cheap! Also, once you have used alcohol to clean and prep, it is non-removable. You will end up distroying the material underneath and turn your interior into something unbefitting of a Porsche.

Our parts for the Porsche 996 are all laminate, which is the same method used by the factory for all Porsches, Lamborghini Gallardos, BMWs, Mercedes, etc. The process involves sanding down the original part then gluing the carbon fabric, then following with several coats of clear, and sanding a polishing to a mirror like finish. This process works best for modern cars with snap together plastic parts. THESE ARE NOT STICK ON PIECES! We take pride in making the best carbon parts for high end exotic cars and stand by our products 100%.

We also make parts in full molded carbon fiber when it is the right choice, like in a Ferrari 355 or Lamborghini Murcielago where the parts are very simple and attach using srews, because these cars are hand built and very simple in their construction.

Porsches factory carbon has been know to delaminate and or get cloudy or yellow. After 6 years in this business we have not seen this with our parts, as we use UV blockers and other tricks to make our parts look good when new and for the life of the car.
