Air Bag Light - not seat belt

I purchased 2001 986 Boxster 2.7L - the air bag light is on. The code reads "passenger ignition circuit" - I was told this is related to the pressure switch in the passenger seat. Any idea what this code really is? If it's in fact the pressure switch where do I find it and/or suggested repairs? The Bentley's manual says the pressure switch is part of the heated seat harness / assembly. I don't have heated seats. Please help.

Ignition circuit, passenger

Possible cause of fault

- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the wiring between the passenger airbag unit and the airbag triggering unit

- Passenger's airbag unit faulty

- Triggering unit for airbag faulty
