Hi new member so if i'm in wrong place please excuse me,on way home tonight drove up to about 90mph and then slowed down at which point dash message said error rear spoiler control,i also note that i cannot open engine compartment and that auto lock does not work,manual control of spoiler also does not work,vehicle is 2006 997 c2s,please help

Is your car still under warranty? If so take it to the dealer and let them sort it out.

Hopefully someone will chime in on some other trouble shooting suggestions..

If you remove the driver's side wheel you should

be able to find a small hole. If you can get to the cable,

then you can open the rear hood. Sounds like the wire came off the

spoiler motor.

I had same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Turns out the cable to the spoiler motor had become unseated. I believe it is located on the right hand side of the engine compartment and connects to a coupler. Just check that connection to make sure you don't have the same problem as I did.
