Okay, so I'm trying to figure out if I've gone crazy or not. I do alot of the work on this car myself: 02' 996 C2, but recently developed an oil leak out of one of the spark plug tubes. Ended up needing the valve cover replaced on one side, no big deal though, extended warranty paid for 80% of it.

My question is this, I get the car back, and wash it right away, so I can put it back in storage (I'm in Canada, and luckily we got one day above freezing), and when I'm washing it I notice that when washing the back wheels, and under the car, that there's no splash guard behind the wheels, between the wheels and the exhaust/engine.

The front has the plastic splash guards all around, and on the rear, it has a splash guard in front of the rear wheels, but nothing behind them. Did the mechanic forget to put them back on, or does the car not have any?

I can't remember, but I swear I had them before.

Thanks.

No, you are not missing any parts. There are no splash guards or inner liners between the rear wheels and the mufflers/engine.
