So I have a late 04 build 05 CS. It has the nav unit without the phone buttons and a disk under the passenger site (Left hand drive)

So I said cool, I can get this http://www.mobridgeinc.com/products/bluetooth

I read and it says no go for my car, since it doesnt have the phone buttons.

A thread from a year ago says they installed it and the audio works. I would mainly want the audio to stream via bluetooth from my iphone, phone integration would be nice but I dont really need it.

Would I be able to just get a DVD nav with the phone buttons and pretty much plug in, maybe some coding from the dealer? I have the amp, fiber, etc in place already.

Thanks!

I found my answer in the other board.

I have a 2005 TT, PCM 2.1 with NO Phone buttons. I installed a Mobridge sytem with bluetooth, sirius, and IPOD connection. The phone worked fine but I had to be controlled from the phone itself. Meaning hte kicrophone from the mobridge and he speakers worked fine. I could see the phone bars etc. The problem was I had no phone buttons. SO I bought one with phone buttons on ebay (sold mine without them for same price smile.gif) and just plugged it in. WHat I got was full functioning phone with no glitches. You may need to go to the dealer and have them change a few settings, but 30 minute job at worst. I also got the compass function on my dash that I was not expecting. All pretty easy to do.
