How much time do I have to change water pump?

yes, i concur. Mine lasted a week or so after i noticed the noise before she went blewy on the ride home. You don't want to repeat my mistake. Get it replaced soon.

How long will that light bulb last? There is no way to tell. If it's making noise then it should be considered a failed component and replace straight away.

The cost of the tow when the thing goes and you are stuck on the side of the road will go along way towards paying for the water pump.

you guys are correct. I thought the noise was just the bearing on the pulley and nothing else. I barely made it home and upon arrival the coolant was dripping from the pump. So glad to have my indy living 2 miles from my home and that the car didn't even balk. Temp was between 8 and 0 all the way back. I'm also replacing a coolant hose that looks ifi...

Is the coolant hose that looks iffy the "Y-hose" near the thermostat?

Just wondering as I have had to replace mine twice in the last four years.

it's the 3 way coolant hose to coolant container to water pump. it looked cracked (the plastic splitter) but thinking about it, it may be the cosmoline.... $50
