Hi all, appreciate if anyone could help me out on installing the Pre-MOST Bose Amp/Speakers.

I recently bought the entire set of Boxster Pre-MOST Bose AMP & Speakers off eBay, and planing to install to my 1997 boxster myself (currently it only have the original dash speaker and aftermarket door speakers installed with no amp).

Can anyone kindly advise me the following:

1) where is the amplifier mounted originally in a 97 boxster?

2) I got the bose amplifier (986.645.338.00) and the additional amplifier (996.645.341.00), but I didn't have the DSP controller face plate. Will I need that to work with the bose additional amplifier? But I've already replaced to an aftermarket head unit.

3) I found the pin out diagram from Loren in the following post (sorry I'm newbie and don't know how to post just the diagram here):

http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...=bose+connector

But I'm not sure if I'm fully understand how to connect those wires,

- should the output from the head unit connect to Plug 2 - B3 to B10

- should the output from Plug 2 - A5 to A12 connect directly to the speakers

- how to connect the rear speakers and sub? should P1 - C & F connect to K12A01 - A4 & A5? which wires should be directly connect to the rear L & R speakers and sub?

Highly appreciate if anyone could help me out with this

I can probably help you.  Tell me what you are trying to do and what equipment you want to install.

Do you have a 4 or 6  channel AMP?
