I was working on the Steering wheel on Sunday and forgot to remove the battery negative switch. I discovered the problem after remove the air bag unit from the steering wheel.

So after unplug the battery and put things back together and plug back the battery. I notice the airbag light comes on. I tried to use the ODBII reader but could not able to disable the light. After some researchs, I learn that it can only be done by using the PST2 system.

Can anybody recommend me a local shop that can do this for a small fee?

Does anybody know how much the dealer at steven creek charge for this?

Thanks in advance,

-Nat

A friend of mine has the Baum tool scanner and when I asked him if it would reset an airbag light he said no. He had to take his car to the dealer.

Tim at Fastlane in Santa Cruz can reset the light as he has a PST2.

Or the next time you need an oil change let the dealer do it and ask to have it reset then.

the Baum i-Scan with porsche software will reset the SRS,ABS,CEL,EGS lights, if your friend has the ottoscan that is just for the check engine light
