I need help trying to figure out what happen to my '99 Boxster headlamp system. I was using a Panasonic ballast until my left headlamp went out (had these for few years). First thing I checked was the 8000k H7 bulb; not the issue. Next was the ballast; fuse was not blown on ballast wiring, but I decided to replace the ballast anyway. New ballasts are from Tunning Pros (cheaper ballast) with new H7 8000k bulbs. I replaced both Panasonic ballast with Tunning Pros. Nothing worked but the running lights.

I checked the fuse system under the steering column and nothing was blown. I than decided to try to have system with the new HID bulbs. I decided to go back to OEM setting without ballast using just H7 factory bulbs. No luck...only the running lights worked. Any feedback to help with be appreciated!...I could not even get the highbeam to work.

Ok, after checking the new H7 HID Ballast by Tunning Pro it said for Porsche 911. Would this make a difference? I got my OEM lights to work after disconnecting the battery about 3X. Lucky, but now I'm stuck with these Tunning Pro ballast. Anyone recommend Xentec? Also, should the ballast from Tunning Pro be able to work in my vehicle? Thanks...
