You should be able to hold .8-.9 with X50. I suggest you get codes read...likely check for leaks in the system....also when was your last plug/coil change?

I change plugs w/o coil in about 4 to 5000 miles ago, and recently i changed the two buttom boost hoses to silicone type with fastening clamp which probably not the best quality. I did not finish replacing the rest of hoses on top. I am not sure if those new hoses are leaking. how do i check for leaks?

Usually when you see a .4 level of boost, it means there's a leak in the hose....it goes into limp mode as an indicator of an air leak....check the hose connection. I think you diagnosed your own problem. I had a bad connector in one of the hoses to my intercooler and it would come undone once in a while....immediately followed by a .4 level of boost...
