997 Seat Retrofit help needed, Schematics

Ok folks, I'm installing a set of 997 seats in an older 928. the passenger side was a no brainer..... BUT the driver side has a memory control brain that controls the motors and such...

There is an obvious power lead to it, so I put power to it but no movement. So in short, can someone provide schematics / wiring diagrams for an 07 997 power seat with memory? I need to see how this brain is wired so I can figure out where to put Power and ground so I can get controls back.... I'm sure with the schematics I can figure it out, but without them are struck.

I have sorted many threads on these topics, and there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer on this swap of new memory seats into an older car. If someone can post the schematics, I will post the solution. I am an EE so this should be pretty easy with the diagrams....

I tried the link noted for PIWIS but got this 'The website declined to show this web page'. Not sure how to get around that one. What I am trying to do is put a set of 2010 997 GT3 adaptive sport seats in my 2009 Cayman S with standard seats. I need to know the pin-outs/wiring diagrams for the main seat connectors, the large yellow ones.

hey has anyone had any luck with fitting 997 seats into anything else? I just bought some multi function ones, the driver seat is a memory seat and i want to put them in a 1997 boxster, if anyone has any installation info they would like to share i'd be most grateful.

I may change the runners to manual operation by fitting my old runners back on but i'm not sure with the wiring, there are more and more of these seats coming on the market and i reckon it would be a pretty cool upgrade IF you can get them to work that is :)

Hi, I just installed 997 seats (from a 2007 carrera) into my 1998 Boxster.Tried forever to get the memory box to work, even with a full wiring diagram downloaded at Alldata.com, but did not work.I ended up re-wiring the switches, and bypassing the memory module.Email me if you need a step-by-step description: jan.kramer72@yahoo.comJ.

Recently found myself heading down the same road, replacing 986 2-way heated seats with 997 2-way heated seats.  Was wondering if anyone found a way to wire the heating element from the 986 car harness into the 997 seat harness?
