Hi - I'm using a power passenger seat from a 2000 996 cab for a computer driving game setup in my garage. I'd really like the power adjustments to work so it's easily adjustable for different players. I'm not sure what power supply to use, I'm assuming it's 12V and I hooked up a 12V 500mA adapter that I had lying around and I can get the seat tilt adjuster working, but the up/down forward/back just buzz, so I'm assuming I don't have enough power from that little 500mA adapter to move the seats.

Anyone know what sort of power I need to drive the motors properly?

I'm thinking something like this but wanted to know whether 3A is enough or if I need to go with the 10A one (or even higher...)

thanks!
