Hooking up a data logger to our '06 CaymanS and have a cable to connect it to the OBD port. It could read the CAN data if I could provide the correct info. See this link for the configuration set up which shows the data needed (columns) for each data stream (rows): http://www.race-technology.com/wiki/index....II/CODBIIConfig

I'm hoping I can get steering angle, RPM, Throttle angle and maybe some other useable data for track days.

Posting here because I assume the same answer will apply to my '07C2S.

Can anyone provide the needed inputs or refer me to a source (Race Technology does not have available)?

Thanks,

P-cardriver

Thanks Loren. I'm not getting communication yet which has lead Race Technology to ask if I'm sure the CaymanS is CANBUS (or just OBDII). Do you know?

Assuming it is CAN, I need to configure R-T's interface to read the channels I am after - but to do that I need to know which data is on what channel, the addresses, bit lengths, etc. I'm hoping someone has that info... but first to get the communication working.

OBD II port for the MY06 Cayman is CAN. If they do not know how to connect to CAN then I suggest you find another company. Dozens, if not hundreds of folks have this working.
