I recently refreshed my Porche center hub caps with the "new" larger Porche crest painted centers. The old ones for a 996 were $57 each at the dealer and the new ones were $35 each also at the same dealer. The parts manager claims they are the new Porche hub caps for the 997 and Panamera.

Enjoy,

Jorge

There's a company on that auction website that sells an EXACT set of replicas of the crests for the wheels for about the same price as the dealer wants to charge you for one new one.

I'm all for trademark and copyright protection, but the company appears to have no conscience at all. :soapbox:

Regards, Maurice.

Does anyone have a picture of the difference in the wheel cap between 996 and 997. I like the idea of a larger crest size but would like to see the difference.
