My brother has a 2006 997 4S with a TPC supercharger. The car

will not start. He removed the air hoses and found that the inside

of the hoses had oil in them.

Could this be worn out supercharger bearings?

Any help would be great.

How much oil? You'll always find oil in the intake down stream of the throttle body, it's the amount that is of concern.

It was light but it coated the interoir of

the whole hose. I believe that this hose is the

one between the supercharger and the throttle body.

Thanks for your reply.

Uau, that's one scary post. Especially after that other one about engine light being on all the time.

I would say - it is time to see what dealer of good independent mechanic will say.

Nice thing to read about as I just was thinking about getting SC or turbo on my '06 C2. :(

Please let us know if you find out what it was.
