Hello everyone,

After trying to check all fuse were ok due to a problem with heated seats, now my car does not start. The battery is ok but I have got the following messages when I turn the key:

oil measurement procedure, psm fail, abs fail, pasm fail

What can I do? How is it possible to start the engine? Did someone encounter this issue?

Any advise will be appreciated I am totally disgusted.

Thanks by advance

My vehicle is a Boxster S Year 2005 280cv

6 speed - LHD

Does the engine crank or won't fire up? How did you check the fuses? It's best to use a test light to check the fuse as just looking at them you can sometimes miss the spot where the fuse has failed.

The engine won't fire up. I am going to push the care and try to crank it. But I am hardly convinced it will work.

Regarding the fuses, I have only look at them. If you think it is worth doing with a test light, I will try.

However I thought it was possible to start with a faulty fuse.

Anyway, thanks for this first advice

If the engine will crank but not run then I don't think push starting the vehicle will help. A fuse can be at fault if it powers the fuel or DME/ignition circuits. Any chance you can read the codes?

You are right, my yesterday attempt to start has been a failure. I have not possibility to check the error code(s) by myself. My car will be towed tomorrow to the dealer, and I will rather quick be informed of the root cause of my problem. I am inclined to believe it is the DME and not a simple fuse the faulty item.

I keep you informed.

thanks

It was a connectivity problem behind the fuse box. The Porsche mechanic has some difficulties to identify the problem since the errors code were not helpful...

The power source of the fuse box has been newly and correctly re plugged. I am happy that it was not a more severe problem with the DME and to have drive bck my boxster home tonight. :)
