I know this has been covered in the past but I want to make sure I get my facts straight. I bought my sideskirts used and had them painted. Near the top edge of the sideskirt is a long strip of double sided tape. Can I use this tape instead of epoxying the skirt to the car. I also don't see how the skirt fits into the retaining strip that has to be screwed(probably going to use double sided tape) to the rocker panel? The skirts dont seem to have a channel that would fit into the retaining strip. Is there two versions of this areokit I side skirt? So can I just use the double sided tape up top or will that not be enough to hold the skirts on? The bottom just has clips and a screw at each end. I just don't think I am commited to drilling a hole in the side of the car. I also dont have the templates for lining up the retaining strip.

Perhaps the best thing for you to do is have them professionally installed. If you don't do it properly they will look bad and you will have to have it done again anyway. Another problem is if they are used skirts they can deform and not fit properly again. DO NOT use epoxy. DO Not drill holes in the side of your car.

Try to find a good (high end) body shop in your area with experience in body kits and have them take a look at it.

Good luck

You do not have to drill any holes to install the MK1 side skirts. There are small retaining clips that clip onto the lip under the vehicle (~10 per side I forget). The side skirts are taped on the top along the vehicle and screwed into the retaining clips that are under the vehicle. There are also two screws in the back wheel wheel and one in the front. Do not use glue and do not drill holes. PM me if you want.
