Hi,

I'm new to this forum and I have to say that I really like it.

After the german 911 Forums could not solve my problem I just try it here - maybe someone knows the problem.

Since about 4 weeks we try to get rid of the PSW warning light - Porsche and Durametric Tester says "booster pump".

We have changed the pump two times with no effect - including the bleeding with activated pump - the light stays on!!

Brake light switch : checked

Steering Angle calibration: checked

Fuses? : ok checked

Booster Pump: checked and replaced

what else can cause/solve that problem?

exchange the ABS HYDRAULIC UNIT?

exchange the MAS?

Thanks in advance

Oliver

I would start with a check up by PIWIS diagnostic tool, which have more possibilities. As you said, MAF, throttle body, brake light switch, ABS unit, steering angle sensor, centrifugal sensor, fuses, connectors , wiring's and more, are all connected to PSM.

:welcome:

Please tell us the exact model and model year of your car.

Also, if you have a fault code number(s) please tell us those.

Hi Loren,

sorry that I forgot theise details:

04/2000 Carrera 2 Convertible

The PIWIS Tester shows the same message "Booster Pump" but we have replaced this pump twice

- I have to check again for the code

thanks in advance

Oliver
