Any idea on how to make a 996 rear lights look like the 997? I was thinking, maybe using the rear fog lamps, as if they where stop lights, so fitting inside a two filament bulb could make the effect closer to a 997...

Sell the 996 and buy a 997. Remember when people were cutting up long hood cars to make them look like the new at the time short hoods? Well those people were dinks.
