Hi

Thanks for the great post its very helpful

You have me thinking of spraying my calipers now!

Can you tell me how many cans of VHT you used to spray the 4 calipers and how many coats you sprayed?

The only thing I noticed in other forums is that the paint looks more like the real deal maybe Im wrong though?

Hard to tell from the pictures but the VHT and the G2 are pretty much the same color. The G2 may have been a shade or two darker. I used two full cans of color spray and a full color of clear.

Good work i'd always recommend the spray paint as the coverage is much smoother and even. I used the VHT caliper paint on my 3000GT and want to do the calipers yellow on the boxster we got. I picked up 3 cans of paint, One white primer header paint, one red caliper paint and one clear caliper paint. I did this back in April and if i remember right i did 2 coats of primer, 3 color and 3 clear. And so far they are holding up really well, biggest issue is on the 3000GT the calipers are very close to the wheels so i have to be very careful when putting the wheels on. Hopefully I'll get some pics of the boxters painted calipers here in the near future :)

Hope you dont mind me sharing some pics of mine :)
