Trailer Hitch Question? 1D8- Option

hello,

I have a MY04 CS, US model. I live in Europe, Romania. Took the car on a ride few weeks ago, and stopped at the Porsche dealer in Wien, Austria. Beeing there I have done some small improvements to the car and some recalls. One of the wished improvements was to fix the Trailer Hitch, more exactly get the electrical part running. So, they've ordered for me the electrical wires (the 7pin plug), but somehow the one that they have ordered didn't worked, EU vs. US models.

I did my homework and got some things clear for me but I need you to confirm me which parts I should get now in order to make this working. I have the TSB for retrofiting the hitch, but it's kind'a confussing for me, so please if you know what I'm talking about please wrote here.

The car came with these installed, as 1D8 option is on the car:

- 955 044 000 10 - trailer hitch receiver set

- 955 618 040 10 - control unit

IMO I just need this:

955 612 596 00 - Electrical Wirring harness - but this also includes the 7 PIN recieving plug? because that is what I need.

do I need something else?

I've got the receipt from the dealer. they have ordered me the cable with this code: 955 612 506 00, and did not work :( - and that was logical cause it was for the other model.

again what I know for sure is that these cars came also with 955 618 040 10 - control unit; which I can tell its there as I've saw it.

there is also someone else with the same issue, so please maybe someone can dig in and make the things a little clear for us;

and as I said before:

IMO this is the only thing I need to make it work, can someone tell me if it's right or wrong:
