Hi,

Anybody have the wiring diagram(s) for halogen and xenon lights on a 2006 Cayman?

I am looking to fit a pair of modded OEM bi-xenon lights to my car which came with halogen lights as standard

I know there are more wires to control level etc, in the Bi-Xenon lights and that a direct swap in a halogen car doesn't work.

However, what I want to do is re-wire the internals of a pair of Bi-Xenon lights (a spare pair of OEM Bi-xenon lights) to match the halogen power feeds - so that I should be able to just plug the modded Bi-Xenon lights in to work.

I don't want to change any wiring on the car etc and neither do I want to install the auto-levelling and washing systems.

Anybody have access to the wiring diagrams or even have tried this modification?

I have the wiring diagrams and looked at doing this. The issue is the space inside the headlight and removing the wiring socket to be able to put the wiring into the correct locations.

Are you still trying? I've now got the wiring diagrams and it looks feasible, but my next test will be to release the plug in the headlight to swap wires around. I guess its a snap in place thing and that there is a simple way to release it, that's difficult to find.

Thanks for the reply

Sorted, Xenon headlights working in a halogen wired car, minor mod to socket. Car now capable of working with either type of headlight plugged in
