Seat heater on driver side not staying on?

hey guys ran into a problem my driver side seat heater will not turn on. When i switch it on the red light comes on and turns right back off...could this be due to a faulty switch? Thanks for the help!

This phenomenon appears: 1) faulty heat element seat (interruption/burned resistor wiring)

2) faulty heat element backrest (idem)

3) faulty relay

Check in this order.

man im gonna feel stupid saying this, but what does any of that mean and how do i check that ? sorry im a bit of a noob here, still learning as i go...How do i check those things u mentioned exactly...thank you ver much for the help...
