My 02 Carrera has zip for reception- From my experience with MBs I'm going to guess it's the antenna booster-

Has anyone replaced one of these before- if so where exactly is the booster and how do you get at it??

Thanks

You should be able to use PIWIS (possibly PST2?) to diagnose poor radio reception...members can read the TSBs.

Oops...PIWIS is the Porsche system testing tool (replaced the PST2)...in any case those tools should be able to diagnose issue. The TSB is available in the DIY menu for members.

In the top right corner of the site is a link that says Glossary. We tried to cover most of them there (and it has a search too). :D

The antenna amplifier is located behind the right A-pillar trim.
