Just had a aftermarket stereo system installed and after it was all put in we tried the factory alarm and it locked then unlocked a second later! Also the interior lights won't shut off and using the manual lock on the dash does not work... We removed the factory deck and amp...

we grounded the wire that was connected to the amp but that was useless... It seems that it is sensing that something is open.. when everything is closed.. The aftermarket alarm does the same thing... locks then unlocks.. Has anyone had this problem?

Problem solved.. for anyone that may encounter this... here is a tip.. When you remove the door panel make sure that this wire (see picture)

is not behind a hole where a screw goes in :)

The wire in between the 2 screw holes at the top got spliced causing the alarm to lock then unlock, and also left the interior

lights on the whole time..
