We have done the RWD conversion in a 996TT. I think as I have seen others dyno the car this way, but not sure if you the PSM system will allow you to drive on it like this. All you have to do is remove the center driveshaft with diff and disconnect the halfshafts. Having driven a RWD 996TT, they are a blast and a handful!

Hi there! anyone here can advise me the way to switch from 4wd to 2wd mode for some driftin fun? (07 997TT) Thanks much!! :)

I don't think it is possible on a 997TT with AWD to electronically change from AWD to RWD. I'll be interested to hear if someone else can actually do this.

A good friend of mine who drives a 997TT just told me that pulling the handbrake one click only does the trick. Seems to have been confirmed by seveal persons already.
