Looks like there are 5 screws on the inside of the glovebox lid and 3 more on each side to remove the inner liner. Then there are 2 screws on the inside of the lock.

Thank you Loren.....yes, I did read the thread mentioned several days ago and that got me to the point of being almost able to remove the liner. The issue of the two supports was resolved by me earlier today when I realized that all you needed to do was gently pull the support off of the bottom piece. Then I realized that even that was not necessary as the liner could be raised up to a closed position. The actual glove box door falls away from the liner when the 11 screws are removed. Bottom line...the new part is in place and everything works perfectly.....and I saved myself 180.00 in labor charges for 10 minutes of my work. Thank you for your response and the earlier posted photos on the 11 screws removal process. That is what really gave me the clue as to how to make the repair.

Comment to thunderc4s.......my handle broke off from the latch. The entire handle/latch needs to be replaced as it is one unit. The original lock can be removed and easily installed in the new handle. The Porsche part cost me 143.00 with the PCA discount from my local Porsche dealership. The cost was more expensive on the Suncoast website. Good luck.
