I bought a 2000 boxster 2.7 5 speed. with out the dme and some sensors missing. so I bought everything need including a used dme from another 2000 boxster. I finished installing everything today but now the car wont even crank, it seems like the immobilizer is on or something like that. theres no power to the fuel pump nor the injectors. what could it be?

any help would be greatly appreciated !

thanks

It is my understanding that there is a programmed security code in the DME that matches the immobilizer CPU. The FOB is also matched to the set.

I think you can get the car brought to a dealership and have the set programmed to talk to each other..... I do not know the cost of that.

thanks,

Mike

The immobilizer has a code that needs to match the DME, and you now have a different DME. I am rusty on this, so don't quote me. You need to get the immobilizer code for the control unit under the seat, only a friendly deal can do that. Then with a PST2/PIWIS you go into the DME and change the code to match your immobilizer code.
