Have read the owners manual - no details

Have searched and many threads on the oil topics and they seem to raise more questions...

It appears the 996tt also uses 75w90 with certain specs and there's a P approved brand/sepc. My quetion is: f the oil specs surpass, is it fine to assume it is fine to use. To specify the question does not ask which is "best".

Has anyone here tried omega 690 oils in their 996tt?

I've used this on all my track day cars with great success and prefer to stick to what I know works. nsx/s2000/lotus 6spds/LSDs and in the nissan gtr 5spd. Power ranges 230-730hp.

thanks!
