Just bought my first new Porsche, a 09 C4S (PDK) black on black ( had to have those hips ), Just sold my 2005 C2 which I bougt used a couple of years ago. Being without a 911 for over a week was a real big problem come to find out . I must say the car is amazing and on my first impression, I notice the car is allot quieter in the cab in regards to the rear wheel road noise. Have not hit the sport plus button yet, only 80 miles on her now.

Clear bra on the front soon, and then I am complete. ( yeah right )

I have been reading these posts for over a year and want to thank everone involved for all of the information on this site and I look forward to reading more.

Thanks again.

Congratulations on your new C4S.

I love mine - also '09 C4S Gray with PDK. My daily driver with 11,000 miles in five months.

I love those hips, too. "NALGAS" if you speak Spanish.

HA! That's what my mother called my fanny! She'd really enjoy your personalized plate. And yes , the Carreras are broad of beam indeed!

And congrats Kirk on the new ride. Next time I pass by Huntington Beach on the 405, and you're going the other way, be on the look-out for one of the very few green C2S's in L.A., and wave to me or blink your lights. I'll do the same. Cheers!

Thanks for all of the reply's, I will keep an eye out for you 355.

Got a few miles on her over the weekend and I will say that the radio portion of the car is weak simular to my 05 C2, but the CD and Ipod sounds fantastic ( not that any of us are buying these cars for the sound system, but its a nice adder)

As far as the clear bra goes, Whats the move, take it to the dealer or take it to Clear B

ra in O.C. Pros and Cons of the clear bra, any body have any opinions?

Thanks, Kirk

Sweet! :clapping: Love the wheels! Enjoy! If you like to detail your own car I highly recommend the Zaino products. Get some of their scratchless towels. I just did a 2 stage wax tretament over the weekend and the car looks like black glass. It's awesome..

Congrats!!

I like big Butts, lol, for me it's the hips. Living in southern Cal. does not justify a four wheel drive vehicle, but how do I justify this vehicle anyway.

If you live in cold country you really need one. check out the link below.

Just looked at my post and thought I would update, 1900 miles on her now, after what three months.

my impression now, spent allot of money on this car, most this 51 year old has ever spent on a car.

If I had a chance to do it all over, would I do it again ???

The answer is YES,YES,YES!!!!!

It is so fun to get up on a weekend early and go driving for a couple of hours with the ipod cranked and a cup of coffee going.

I do turn off the sounds now and then to hear the motor purr, but the sounds thru the ipod I think are great.

Washing and waxing and then drinking a beer and then just looking at it dosn't suck either :D

No buyers remorse at all!!!!!

2nd 911

3rd porsche.

I am a believer !!!!!!

And that is just in the last three years, Alway wanted one, but could not justify one.

Get out of your own way.

This is not a test life !!!!

Now Get !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is great to hear. I take delivery of my new C4S at end of month. My first 911. I can't wait.

MMMMMM. MMMM, MMM. I don't know whats better, waiting and dreaming about your new one coming in, or having one in the garage???

O.K. I am back, having one in the garage is better, but pleasant dreams S2928 and keep us in the loop?

Congrats on the C4S, looks beautiful in black. :)

As for clear bra, I had the dealer take care of it after getting a very very small rock chip. I did not want any more. they charged about 1600. I had the lip spoiler, hood, front sides and side mirrors done.

have many fun miles of driving. cheers.

Picked up my 3rd Porsche (1st 911) just last week. She was a garage queen and only has 6300 miles on her.

2006 C4S Meteor Gray, fully loaded. Previous owner paid close to $110,000 brand new.

I was making myself sick inside trying to justify buying her, but the moment I saw her all

my anxiety faded away. She is in showroom condition. still smells new. There is such

a joy that you get inside everytime you take a 911 for a drive. It is good for the soul.

if anyone is hesitant and nervous about pulling the trigger like I was, don't be. You will

never regret it. Just make sure to do your homework and pick a good condition one.

She is awesome!

Thanks for the post Kirk. I just turned 54 on Friday and I'm ordering my Targa 4S on Monday. With my last teenager now driving himself around I'm getting a car just for me. Not that my M3 was a bad choice but I've been wanting to do this ever since I sold my restored 73 911s. I still miss that car! Keep posting - I'd like to hear how your experience is evolving.

Cheers

Greg
