headliner replacement... easy or difficult?

I'm thinking of replacing the black headliner in my non-sunroof 2004 coupe with a graphite gray headliner. How difficult is replacement of the headliner?

I don't see graphite gray in the parts list so that headliner will likely be a special order - and without sunroof.

To relace it you will need to remove the A, B and C pillars. There are 8 clips that hold it in place. I do not know if they can be reused or not.

For the most part yes.

The coat hook slides up and off. Then you will need to take the bolt out of the seat belt slide and remove the screw in the B pillar. Then that part of the B pillar will come off. The rest comes off by pulling inward along the roof (C pillar) and the windshield (A pillar).

**** too bad it's a non sunroof nice delete btw. Hey Loren can I put a suede headliner in my 99 which has the fugly and rather cheap looking vinyl one? I do have a sunroof btw. Any idea on the cost also anyone? thanks again.

I tore the leather headliner in my 99 C2 w/ sunroof and had it replaced. I think the headliner was around $500 and I had it installed at a local automotive upholstery shop for under $300.
