I need some help. My AC is not blowing cold air as much as it used to. I takes a long time for the system to start blowing cool air, not cold air out. Its been over 105 deg out here in SoCal. The fires aren't helping. I think I need to recharge the AC system. I can refill it myself. If it goes down again then I'll know that I have a leak in the system.

My question is which one of two valves do I refill the system with? The one on the right or the one on the left?

I will try a one pound canister of the refrigerant first. Do you think I can put two canisters?

Left is high pressure, right is low pressure. According to the book, you need to connect to BOTH.
